While one should never expect negotiations to reach impasse, a negotiator should always be prepared for the possibility. This session will provide an overview of the impasse process, from declaration of impasse through unilateral implementation, and will include a discussion and exploration of the applicable statutes as well as practical advice on navigating the process.
